About Keith Anderson

Keith D. Anderson, owner of Keith Anderson Custom Carpentry, has been in the construction business for over 30 years. A native of Illinois, he has worked in the Quad Cities, the Chicago suburbs, and has been building in the greater DeKalb/Sycamore community and Northern Illinois since 1989.

He brings superior knowledge and skills to his custom residential construction, which includes the contracting of full home construction, creating designs and blueprints, framing and finish carpentry, trim work, custom cabinet construction and installation, hard wood and laminate floor installation, window installation, siding, decks, fences, and other aspects of residential home building.

In addition, he has a substantial background in remodeling and renovation of modern and vintage homes, as well as business spaces. He is an avid woodworker, and has designed and built a variety of wood furniture and accessories, including mantels, shelving, armoires, desks, side boards, and cabinets.

Keith and his wife Madelyn have raised their family in Sycamore. They have been active in various organizations and activities in the DeKalb/Sycamore community, Sycamore school district, and Northern Illinois University for many years. Keith is a graduate of Augustana College, Rock Island, with continued studies at the University of Iowa.
